Introducing the founder of Japan Art & Doujin

Hello everyone!
Let me introduce myself: I'm the founder and owner of the Japan Art & Doujin store. Above all, I'm a passionate collector, curious about everything I like—but especially about the world of Japanese animation, with a particular fondness for the Hyakka Ryōran: Samurai Girls series by Akira Suzuki, illustrated by Niθ, created to celebrate Hobby Japan's 40th anniversary.

My adventure began
one day, by chance, I stumbled upon the anime Hyakka Ryōran: Samurai Girls, and it was a real crush. I was immediately captivated by his unique visual style, blending traditional inking with a modern aesthetic. That's when I discovered the fascinating world of artbooks, doujinshi, and figurines—I absolutely wanted to collect everything related to my favorite series!

Little by little, my collection grew... enormously! Today, it covers a wide variety of licenses: from One Piece to High School DxD, including Final Fantasy VII, Afro Samurai, and many more.

For several years, I purchased batches of rare items in Japan, either through auctions or specialty stores. As my collection grew too large, about three years ago, I started selling my surplus on eBay. Unfortunately, over time, the platform's rules became too strict—especially for items related to the world of doujinshi.

This is how this online store was born: to share my passion, introduce rare treasures to Western collectors, and continue my quest for the most unique pieces. Thanks to Japan Art & Doujin, I can offer you a carefully selected selection of doujinshi, artbooks, figurines, and accessories—directly inspired by Japanese otaku culture, and often unobtainable elsewhere.
